The Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers consumers the choice of an executive size vehicle. A variety of body and engine configurations are available with this class of vehicles. When the E-Class was first introduced, the E in the name stood for Einspritzung. In German, this means fuel injection. This was a new feature that had just gone into volume production when the first E-Class came onto the market.
